In case you haven't noticed, we are living in tumultuous times. Tune in to mainstream media and you see chaos and tragedy projected into your living room from all over the world. And while this seems to indicate we are falling apart, it is within the great Void we call Chaos that we find the seeds of Order and our greatest powers of Creation. "In the beginning God created the heavens and the earth. The earth was without form and void, and darkness was upon the face of the deep; and the Spirit of God was moving over the face of the waters." Within this opening passage of Genesis, Sacred Geometry is revealed as the mechanism of Creation, the foundation from which all things become manifest. The underlying principles of Sacred Geometry are seen throughout the natural world and, when used by us in alignment with natural law, they are an intrinsic part of our most powerful creative expression. Life in Turmoil How many of you know someone, perhaps yourself, who is in turmoil: a long-term relationship ending, a career downsized, a sudden urge to chuck it all and travel the world... all seemingly out of the blue. We are being asked to surrender to these shifts and changes, to allow, even to encourage, the small deaths that come from the moment-to-moment transformation of old patterns. We have a growing awareness there is much more to life than having the fastest computer, the biggest house, the most of the latest collectible. As the mask of "life as we know it" falls away, we have the opportunity to embrace the path to transformation. As we follow this path, our true Self is revealed to us. Maintaining Equilibrium What can we do to maintain a sense of equilibrium as we make our way through these troubling times? One of the most important things I am finding is to become grounded. "Grounded" means being fully present in our bodies NOW, not mentally out walking the dog or reviewing tomorrow's agenda while pretending to participate in a conversation with coworkers or family members. It also means being self-aware and respectful of our individual body, in all of its complexity, as well as our collective body, Mother Earth. When we build a strong foundation grounded in loving ourselves and all living things, it is so much easier to hear the voice of our Soul. And when we listen to our Soul, it is easier to remain grounded. Sacred Geometry can help us with this dynamic balancing act. Don't let the words scare you "Sacred" is so much more than church on Sunday or fear of God. And the "geometry" of school days past was quantified and sterilized... and required. In truth, Sacred Geometry speaks to your relationship with your own consciousness and awareness, and you can only be conscious and aware in the present moment. Every day, we bring the sacred within ourselves to the sacred that is around us; that is our birthright. There is much talk of "sacred sites," special places on the Earth that have heightened energy vortices. I propose that every square inch of Earth is a Sacred Site, and that we consecrate the space, wherever we are, with our Divine presence even when we're mowing the lawn, chairing a meeting, or chatting with friends over coffee. We and the Earth, the creatures, stones and plants, the oceans, skies and mountains, are One Inseparable Unity. Recognizing and honoring our individual importance to this Wholeness is our soul's mission and life purpose, our reason for choosing this body, this time, this Earth. And the conscious awareness of ourselves as part of this great and holy unity is the gift of Sacred Geometry. As we become aware of the geometries of our body by invoking its sacred patterns, we strengthen our physical foundation. If we also bring our awareness to the geometric matrix of our subtle energetic and spiritual bodies, we gain unlimited access to our transformative potential. It is this physical/geometrical/spiritual matrix, the Whole of Us, fully embodied rather than talked about, that is our Sacred Self. It is this Wholeness that enables us to maintain an integrated and healthy relationship with ourselves and our world. From this solid and powerful foundation we can remain centered in the midst of seeming disorder and chaos. Check out the Sacred Geometry Series essences for extra support!
